Terms of Service

1. What Acreden is

Acreden (operated by [company legal name — PENDING registration details]) is a real-estate transaction platform for Nigeria. We verify listings before they go live, arrange property visits, hold transaction funds in escrow with our payment partners, and track ownership transfer to completion. Acreden is not a party to the sale, rental, or lease itself — we are the platform on which it safely happens.

2. Accounts and identity

You must provide accurate information and complete identity verification (BVN/NIN via our KYC providers) before listing a property. One person, one account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information or appear on our fraud blacklist.

3. Listings and verification

• Listing a property is a representation that you own it or hold a valid, unexpired mandate from the owner.
• “Verified” means our checks (document authentication, registry searches where available, physical inspection) found no problems at the time of verification. It is a diligence outcome, not a guarantee of title.
• You must keep availability confirmed. Listings whose availability lapses are paused automatically. Listing a property here while selling it elsewhere without telling us may lead to removal and blacklisting.

4. Payments and escrow

• All transaction payments — visit fees, deposits, purchase funds, rent — must pass through Acreden’s escrow. Payments made outside the platform are not protected, and soliciting them is a violation of these terms.
• Commissions and fees are disclosed before you commit to a transaction.
• Funds are released only at the milestones shown in your transaction tracker.

5. Communication

Chat between buyers and listers is masked: contact details are not shared before the stage of a transaction that requires them. Attempting to move a counterparty off the platform is a violation of these terms.

6. Prohibited conduct

Fraud of any kind, listing property you have no right to sell or let, forged documents, multiple sale of the same property, harassment, and circumvention of escrow are prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Liability
